I am the second owner having purchased it off a 90 year-old woman no joke,she's still alive. Original Arizona ranch truck is reason for low mileage. I have added balancing beads to both front tires to help with vibration. ~Brakes were professionally replaced all the way around 6000 miles ago. It is heavy duty and does have a fifth wheel ball in it under door in bed. If any questions or if you need further clarification or pics of something particular please let me know.
All Doors recently aligned and shut very nice. Super clean body no dents at all except at bottom of front passenger fender shown in picture. All glass in good condition, body is solid and rust free some surface rust. Head liner needs replaced, headliner there and saved the old covering for template to make new one. I would hop in put 10,000 lbs behind it and head cross county. Flatbed is 12' long and appears to be home made and that it has been modified several times. Transfer case is leaking at seal, I added a speedy sleeve to the yoke but it still leaks.
Will make getting to shipper easy too for buyer. My camera batteries died while i was attempting to hold the camera under the truck so you can hear the exhaust note. Lock outs and four wheel drive works good. The interior is very clean and hasn't been smoked in. I bought from original owner. It is extremely solid and never driven in the salt so therefore there is no major rust on it. This video was recorded February 2nd to show the start up procedure with dash switch and push button start as well as demonstrate the engine sound on my 1989 Chevy R3500 that i have for sale on Craigslist.
Absolutely zero rust, truck has been in Nevada desert its entire life except last month. I will happily pick buyer up at airport if you do. Only bad spot is dash has a couple cracks. Dash has cover on it. Drove truck from there to Ohio with no issues, Truck is totally rust free with only known body repair being repaint of left front fender has clear coat peel.
This vehicle runs and drives beautifully ~Paint is 100% percent original and obviously faded on the hood. . ~Air Conditioning works excellent and recently serviced. Even the bed rails are nice and straight. Paint is original but faded a little. This truck even still features the original radio.
Interior is sun baked by Arizona sun as pictured but not broke down or torn up from abuse. No rips or tears or workout spots. This one is a fully loaded Silverado. New Battery, new fuel pump, new hoses. Intercooler and and Intake horn are 94-98 Dodge. Feel free to make offers but please don't ask reserve.
Smaller exhaust housing turbo swapped for quicker spooling. Can see where it has had other tool boxes etc. I have driven this truck and it drives nice and runs strong with plenty of power. Email with any questions before you bid and to set up time to come look at it. This 4x4 hasn't been a beat work truck. The body is very straight and is 100% rustfree from the west coast.
Nicest original interior you will find in one of these trucks. All the power options work, ac blows cold. New drivelines front and back. Call Jeff with further questions 419-203-0780. Dash is cracked under pad. We just replaced the electric fuel pump, and put a new fuel tank switching valve on.
Bad: Drivers side tank only converted to Diesel, need to convert passenger side in order to switch tanks- tank switch valve operates as it should but unhooked until conversion completed. The Good The Bad The Ugly. Passed California smog test last month. Apparently i put my thumb over the microphone hole on the camera a couple times because the audio quality is not great. Rebuilt Dodge Auto trans with overdrive on switch and Dodge 205 transfer case.
It was meticulously maintained by her Certified mechanic son,who has still maintained it for me. Ugly: It needs paint, very cool and straight body but with the conversion stripes and clear that was added after factory it will need sanded and painted. Interior is nice shape 7 out of 10. Truck runs and drives incredible. This heavy duty 4x4 only has 147k miles. This vehicle maintains it's originality in everyway. Needs a paint job, the original clear coat is peeling off and I pressure washed most of it off but it will need paint.
